First remove the battery
Reinsert the battery back in
Now Hold the Volume Down button to turn the phone on
Use Volume Up / Down to move between options
Use Home key to select an option
Use Back key to go back
From the clockwork menu choose: wipe cache partition.
From the clockwork menu choose: wipe data/factory reset.
From the main menu select: Reboot

Procedure one
- From the home screen, tap menu
- Tap Settings and then Privacy
- Tap Factory data reset
- Now tap Reset phone
- Enter password if required and then tap Erase everything to confirm
If still your phone hang or frozen then try following steps:
Please keep in mind that sometimes hard reset may harmful for your mobile, so execute it if your device really needs it.
- Turn the power off. If your Dell Venue is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
- Press and Hold the Volume Down button
- Press and hold the Power button till the device power on
- Follow the instructions shown on the screen to hard reset your Dell Venue

Performing reset (soft) Dell Mini 3i:
If the phone should freeze for any cause, you can depress and hold the Power On/Off button for 10 seconds and this should cause the phone to reset itself and resume operation.
If this does not improve the condition, remove the battery cover and the battery. Wait 10 seconds, and then restore the battery and the battery cover. Press the Power On/Off button to turn on the phone on once more.
